Google Cloud says the full (GA) version of its Professional Agentic Architect exam will launch in mid-November 2026, and that GA registration opens mid-November. Google has not given an exact day. Before then, beta candidates who sat the exam from September 8 to 30, 2026 get their multiple-choice results at the end of October, and those who pass must finish the hands-on labs by December 31, 2026.
Who this affects
- Anyone waiting to take the exam: the beta is closed, so the next chance to register is the GA launch in mid-November.
- Beta candidates: results for the multiple-choice part arrive in CM Connect at the end of October. Passing that part unlocks the labs; you need both to earn the certification.
- Teams budgeting for it: Google says GA will cost $200 USD, the standard price for its professional exams. The beta cost $120.
What to do now
- Plan for the GA format. Google says the GA exam is a 2-hour session with results in 7 to 10 business days. If you pass, you get 2 months to complete the required labs in Google Skills.
- Know the shorter validity. This certification is valid for 1 year, not the 2 years of other Google Cloud professional certifications.
- Watch the certification page in mid-November for the registration link.
