Microsoft announced a new Dynamics 365 certification on October 16, 2026: Microsoft Certified: Supply Chain Management AI Consultant Associate, earned through Exam AB-330: Implementing AI-Powered Supply Chain Operations with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, now in beta. Microsoft Learn lists it at US$165, 100 minutes, English only, with a passing score of 700. Microsoft also says MB-330 and the Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate certification retire on February 1, 2027.

Who this affects

  • Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management consultants who implement end-to-end supply chain processes and the product’s AI-enabled features.
  • Anyone studying for MB-330: Microsoft says MB-330 and Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate retire on February 1, 2027, so AB-330 is the replacement path.
  • Partners building AB-100 eligibility: AB-100 accepts a list of associate certifications as prerequisites; check our AB-100 guide before assuming AB-330 counts.

What to do now

  • Want the beta discount? Microsoft says the first 300 people who take AB-330 (beta) on or before November 15, 2026 get 80% off with the public code ScoreAB330.
  • Study from the official guide. The AB-330 study guide covers six business processes. Source to pay is the largest (30 to 35%), followed by inventory to deliver and order to cash (20 to 25% each).
  • Expect a wait for results. Beta exams are not scored right away; Microsoft says rescoring starts when the exam goes live, with results about 10 days later.
